November 2007 On November 4th, we were at Donida Farms, and had been expecting the long fast grassy track of last year with a little time in the sand of the horse track, but instead found a twisty course half of which featured a brand-new section of singletrack with mud the consistency of peanut butter. Highlights on the day were Charlie's recovery in the opening corner that was not barricaded properly, Jeremy's best finish of the year, multiple cheers of "Go for the loins!," the super-NASCAR style pit bike pedal swap for Derik following the spontaneous combustion of his chain! And thanks to Brandon (BikeSport) and Andrew (Summit Family Chiro) for joining us for some fine autumn racing. |
