Mason Lake Road Race Series #2

The second race in the Mason Lake Series brought sun once again, at least for the early races.
Once again, there was a strong turnout for the bunny train, with the full complement of Cat 5
racers. Despite the usual nervousness in the pack, the bunnies managed to spend a substantial
amount of time near the front, and were in a good position for the bunch sprint. Although it
wasn't the most organized sprint in history, 6 bunnies finished in the top 20 or so, including
our first two top ten finishes. Barry snuck across in 5th, with a bike throw at the line, and J
stuck it out for 10th. Brendan, Ben, Derik and Nick were close behind.
Once again, Tim was a player in the Cat 3 race, finishing 11th.
