SCC#1, Steilacoom

A warren of bunnies appeared at Steilacoom this Sunday, and a number of alphas fought their
way to the front of the races. In the 9:30 race, David James made a strong showing finishing
16th. With only one competitor in front of him, Jud Miller (2nd overall in the 10:30 race)
managed to escape the dust that Derik Andreoli endured (16th) for the better part of four laps.
Dr. Karen James enjoyed an eventful race which saw her finish midpack (34th) after she spent
some time on the first lap administering aid to a fallen and injured rider. In the Men's
Master 3 race, Wilbur Kelly pushed his way to a bronze, J Juelis (a.k.a. KillaWatts) finished
in 14th and Charlie Bartlett came in 24th after a strong start and a flat. In the Women's 3
race, Beth Oldroyd (silent 'd') came in 13th overall. Congratulations to the entire warren
of bunnies!
